RE: how to remove the volvo "slash" emblem on the grill?
When I saw title I thought thread was going to be about "de-badging", or thats what someone here called it. I kinda like that idea... its more like de-branding tho, IMO. Might get one of these billet grills for my 2003 S80 and not put the slash back on at all (even if I could).

Then just need to get rid of the Volvo emblems on back and paint my center caps.

Yeah, there's not a whole lot of customizing you can do with these new Volvos. For some reason nobody makes fancy "euro-style" lights or anything like that. Looks like even that billet grill I posted a link to is unavailable now. Only thing I could find are clear side marker lenses for my S80.
already have the yellow LEDs in there... can't wait to show the after photo.

Just browsing through, thought I'd post some pics of my "debadged" 00 S80...
Note about the grill...
I'm going to use an epoxy to fill in the indents in the grill where the "slash" used to be... I just did a rush job.
This is my project "Murder Wagon"
Going with the all black "murdered out" look.
The thread is here
Plastic molding, window tint, and wheels are next. All black
Also need to fix that random square hole in my front bumper. Have no idea what that is... was like that when I bought the car.

Grill!!
Grill looks great bro! I think the square hole is some kind of tow truck access port and should have a piece that plugs it perfectly. Im going to de badge my whole car. Always do i like the clean look. The raised letters only hold water and salt. Volvos have there own style. If people dont know its a V. They are from a different planet hahahahha
